Lando's Family Butchers has stood on Bromley Road in Downham since 2011. We started with one simple idea: a neighbourhood deserves a butcher who knows their name, knows their Sunday roast and knows exactly how they like their meat cut.

Every day we break down fresh beef, pork, lamb, goat and poultry behind the counter — no anonymous pre-packed trays. Ask for thicker chops, a boned shoulder or oxtail cut for slow cooking and it's done while you wait.

Our ready-seasoned meats are what people travel for. Jerk chicken, curried goat, seasoned oxtail and BBQ cuts are marinated in-house with our own blends, so dinner only needs a pot and a pan. Alongside the counter we stock the groceries, frozen fish and seasonings that go with them — the whole meal in one stop.

More than a decade on, we're still a family business serving families: school-run regulars, Sunday cooks, Christmas orders and the big-tray parties. Downham looks after us, and we look after Downham.
